BIMI Record Checker
Enter a domain to check its BIMI record at default._bimi.<domain>: whether it publishes a brand logo (l=) and a Verified Mark Certificate (a=). BIMI shows your brand's logo next to your mail in supporting inboxes (Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo) — but only once DMARC is enforced and, for most providers, a VMC is present.

What it checks
- Whether a BIMI (v=BIMI1) record exists
- The logo URL (l=) — must be a square SVG Tiny-PS
- The Verified Mark Certificate URL (a=) — required by Gmail/Apple
- The published record
How to read the result
- OK = a BIMI record with both a logo and a VMC — supporting inboxes can show your mark.
- Warn (no VMC) = the logo is published but Gmail/Apple won't display it without a VMC.
- Warn (no record) = BIMI isn't set up. It's optional but a strong brand/trust signal.
- BIMI requires an enforced DMARC policy (quarantine or reject) first.
Frequently asked questions
What is BIMI?
Brand Indicators for Message Identification shows your brand logo beside authenticated mail in supporting inboxes. It rewards good email authentication with visible brand trust.
What do I need for BIMI?
An enforced DMARC policy (p=quarantine or reject), a square SVG Tiny-PS logo hosted over HTTPS, a BIMI TXT record at default._bimi.<domain>, and — for Gmail/Apple — a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC).
Why isn't my logo showing despite a BIMI record?
Most providers (Gmail, Apple) require a VMC (a= tag). Without it, the logo usually won't display even if the record and DMARC are correct.
Is BIMI required?
No — it's optional. But it's a strong trust and brand-recognition signal and a good reason to finish enforcing DMARC.
